10 tray Micro-green sprouting system with low power
i.e. less than 60 W micro LED sprout lights + Bio-activated organic nutrients +
Coo fibre - This Sprout kit contains all
you need to successfully grow
most of our sprouting seeds eg Wheatgrass, Snow pea, Field pea, Mustard,
Cress, Broccoli, Radish, Fenugreek, Sunflower, Buckwheat etc where the sprouts are grown vertically ie
in a medium where the seeds are placed on the surface ie not covered, therefore
only needing a very shallow growing medium. The system is 1.3m tall x 0.58m wide x
0.34m deep using extremely low power LED lights, giving
you an incredibly reliable source of Micro-Greens all year round. At current
electrical pricing 60W of energy for 8 hours a day will cost you
approximately $0.84/week at 2016 electricity prices.

The way I use this system is 6 trays of Snow Pea
sprouts (optimal size at 2.5 – 3 weeks) i.e. this gives 2 full trays, harvested
once a week, and 1 tray of Daikon Radish, 1 tray
of Sunflower, and 2 trays of Red Arrow Radish. Using this method you
are planting 2 trays of Snow Peas and 3 trays of Radish & 1 of Sunflower,
once per week. To increase your radish harvest i.e. so that you have 4 trays of
radish sprouts in prime condition every week, you can use extra trays e.g.
start 4 trays, 2 days prior to the weeks end (i.e. the germination phase not
really requiring light as they are underneath the germination cover) this will
give you approximately 8 L salad greens. I then mix with a small amount of herb
leaf, e.g. different types of Basil, Marjoram and Mint, I store this in a
cotton bag inside a plastic bag where they stay fresh for a week and a half,
ready for use at a moment’s notice. Purchase the seeds separately see the seed
category. In this kit you get:- 10 Rectangular Trays, these are the green base trays that store the
water/nutrient. They are 330 x 250 x 50mm. 10 white Grill Inserts allowing you to grow a wide range of micro
greens using a thin layer of coconut fibre, the easiest way is to just spread
paper towel on top of the Grill then the Coco fibre and seeds. FieldPea and
Snowpea can be grown without
the use of potting mix, such as coconut
fibre, but still have the advantages of using the bio-activated nutrients (but
the MicroGreens all do best in the coconut fibre). The roots will quickly
go through the coco-fibre, through the holes and into the liquid below. After another couple of days there will be a
lot of roots touching the base of the tray, now it is time to add water to the
base tray, you can also add extra nutrients at this stage, mixed in with the
water. 2 Germination covers these are placed on top of the
seeds. Made from clear food-grade Perspex, they have narrow slots which
allow the seeds to breath, but not so much that they dry out. So they perform
2 functions, one is to keep the seeds moist, the other one is
to allow the seeds to have something to push against, imagine a
seed being planted under the ground, it has the weight of the dirt above it to
press against as it pushes its root downwards into the soil. If you would like
to start several trays at the one time then you can either purchase extra
germination covers, use the Perspex cover as a template to cut out a piece of
strong cardboard and then cover with glad wrap or foil, or simply place one
tray on top of another and just use the germination cover on the top 1. 1 Metal Stand 6xShelf(5 with Lights) 2x Trays/Shelf (1.3m tall x 0.58m wide x 0.33m deep) this
allows you to make maximum use of limited space. With this kit there is no
choice of different heights as the smallest height of 230mm shelf
height, is the best option when using the micro Sprout lights. Please note this
stand is for indoor use only. 20x 6w micro Led Sprout Lights + 2x60w power supply +
light brackets - we have designed these LED
micro Sprout lights in conjunction with our stands to get the best results for
the minimum amount of energy and space. In this case using the Green
rectangular trays they are covered by 2 rows of micro LEDs with a total power
of 12w per tray, another option is to use a spacer to give 2 different height
settings for individual trays. The LEDs use the highest quality Samsung chips
with a high quality waterproof 60w power supply, capable of driving 10 of these 6w modules i.e. 5 double shelves. 500ml Org. Bio-active nutrients. - Pre-mixed Bio-active nutrients Probiotics, Seaweed, Azomite, Dolomite,
Magnesium Chloride. Fermenting makes the organic nutrients more bio-available
to the sprouts and therefore to you, so you are eating not only tastier
sprouts, but they are many times more nutritious than sprouts that have just
been washed or soaked in water + Worm Wee concentrated (organic nutrients that have been bio-activated and concentrated using a worm farm. + Mycorrhizal Fungi + beneficial bacteria that also kill the larvae of insects (this features is a huge breakthrough for indoor gardening). 1 x 8ltr washed Coconut fibre blocks – Before you use them they must be rehydrated,
10mins, but in the process you can also add the Pre-mixed Bio-active
nutrients (30ml/block, the mix is 4lts of liquid for 1
block, this gives you a moist mix, the simple process is to optionally
(add a small squirt in the base of the tray and a little bit of
water) now add coco fibre to tray, smooth surface, spread seeds, spray
with water add cover, under 5mins including clean-up. Note the
important thing to remember is to keep your bucket of rehydrated coconut fibre
covered with a cloth, firstly so it can breathe and more importantly so that
insects cannot lay their eggs in it.
We also include 5 yellow sticky traps which
also helps trap any flying insects. And of course detailed Instructions with
step-by-step pictures. For additional parts e.g. extra trays, extra shelf for the stand etc
please see below or Sprouting-Supplies-Vertical-Micro-green-Sprouts-Green-Trays or Indoor Vegetable Garden-S4 If
purchased from WA we will ship minus the coco fibre (and reduce the price
accordingly), as we can’t ship seeds or potting mix to WA.
