A new range of LED grow lights incorporating the same upgraded power supply but now include a new lens design giving greater intensities and a more even spread of that intensity throughout the growing area. You can choose between 60°, 90° & 120° lens angle, or a combination of 90°/60° or 120°/90° we recommend the 90°/60°, however if your vertical space is limited then you may need to mount your lights closer to your plants hence the option of 120°.(these lenses can also be changed by the user giving you great flexibility in tailoring your set up).   Our light designs. The mix of Red to Blue is generally regarded as optimum at around 3:1. For the 48w to 288w models we are using 4 different types of LEDs (basically two types of Red, and a mix of Blue and White). The white LEDs generate most of their energy in the Blue and Orange part of the spectrum, there is currently some interest in using more Orange LEDs, the reason being given is to promote carotenoid development, but when you look at the graph( Carotenoid-Development.jpg ) most carotenoid production is done in the blue part of the spectrum, so it makes little sense to trade off Blue LEDs for Orange LEDs, this is why we have put the White LEDs into the mix as they do give most of their energy to the Blue and Orange spectrum, but more importantly they also give a sprinkling of energy across the entire spectrum, a bit like trace elements in the soil.   Payment Options:- we do not accept direct credit card transactions for items in this category so just use PayPal or choose the Invoice option.
