MANGOSTEEN RIND POWDER
Discover Xanthones - The Super Antioxidant
For hundreds of year’s traditional folklore of countries throughout Asia have heralded the many health benefits of the prized Mangosteen fruit. While the fruit has a delicious bitter sweet flavour it is the rind or pericarp that is abundant in a unique class of phytonutrient called Xanthones.
High Potency Xanthone Antioxidants
Xanthones show a high level of antioxidant activity and Mangosteen rind is the most concentrated single source of xanthones found to date. An overwhelming body of research now points to how the dietary intake of foods with antioxidant properties can have a positive and profound impact on human health, performance, and disease prevention.
Mangosteen rind is the most concentrated single source of xanthones found to date. Xanthones are powerful antioxidants that can help the body protect itself from free radicals that cause oxidative damage to our cells.

Mangosteen Rind Antioxidant Capacity
Independant ORAC tests of this mangosteen rind shows a massive 56,662 units per 100g - around 10 times cranberries & blueberries per 100g. ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity) measures the level of antioxidants present in foods.
What do antioxidants do?
Their function is to travel through the body neutralising and reducing free radical damage, leaving your body more balanced and healthier than before. Usually, the body's natural defense systems neutralize free radicals that develop, rendering them harmless. However, environmental assaults on the body, such as UV-radiation, pollutants and alcohol, can overpower the body's ability to neutralize free radicals. Consuming more antioxidants helps provide the body with tools to neutralize harmful free radicals.
