Pic.1 shows where the top cover is open so you can access your plants, you can also open the ends.
Pic.2 shows where the a lower level cover has been opened, it is simply held open by attaching it to the top cover with a plant clip.

Pic.3 shows a close-up of watering using the large black plant sources that are supplied , with a watering can with a narrow neck, like the one that we supply, ie you can keep your pot plants watered without the need to open the cover.

Netting is also supplied for the shelf so there is no access from below.

In this kit you get a set of netting cut to size, plant clips, UV resistant cable ties and detailed instructions, it is pretty simple, it is just a matter of using the cable ties to connect the net onto the stand in a particular order.

Although the prime function for the development of this netting was so that people could grow their salad greens using our shallow self watering pots, the netting can also be used for the shelf type that contains a planter box.

Note:- the middle netting is cut to fit the size of a 40 cm leg length, so it will not work with a 60 cm leg. If you would like to use it with the 30 cm leg length then you will have to trim 10 cm off the length of the netting with a pair of scissors.
