A new range of LED grow lights incorporating the same upgraded power supply but now include a new lens design giving greater intensities and a more even spread of that intensity throughout the growing area. You can choose between 60° and 120° lens angle, we recommend the 60°, however if your vertical space is limited then you may need to mount your lights closer to your plants hence the option of 120°.(more coming soon, these lenses can also be changed by the user giving you great flexibility in tailoring your set up).

Our light designs. The mix of Red to Blue is generally regarded as optimum at around 3:1. For the 48w to 288w models we are using 4 different types of LEDs (basically two types of Red, and a mix of Blue and White). The white LEDs generate most of their energy in the Blue and Orange part of the spectrum, there is currently some interest in using more Orange LEDs, the reason being given is to promote carotenoid development, but when you look at the graph( Carotenoid-Development.jpg ) most carotenoid production is done in the blue part of the spectrum, so it makes little sense to trade off Blue LEDs for Orange LEDs, this is why we have put the White LEDs into the mix as they do give most of their energy to the Blue and Orange spectrum, but more importantly they also give a sprinkling of energy across the entire spectrum, a bit like trace elements in the soil.

Payment Options:-

we do not accept direct credit card transactions for items in this category so just use PayPal or choose the Invoice option. This will produce a Sales Invoice which we will follow up with our Bank Account Details the default is PayPal.

The prices are set in Australian dollars, but tied to USD(so USD price stays relatively constant), and include 10% tax for Australian customers, no tax for International sales. If you would like to see what the price is in US dollars or Euros you can use the Currency button (top left hand side of page- the exchange rates are updated daily), however this will still include the 10% tax which is not payable for sales outside of Australia, as soon as the system knows that you are not from Australia, it will reduce the prices by 10%, to do this you need to go part way through the registration process(top right hand side of page), just as far as putting in details about your country, as soon as you have done this you will see the price change. Or just reduce the USD/EU price by 9%,(x0.91) this will give you a close approximation. (Apologies for the complexity, this is the only way we can do it at the moment).

If you just want to see what the prices are in US dollars or Euros then the simplest way is just to click on Log In, in the top right-hand corner, then enter one of two dummy customer logins that we have set up e.g. e-mail us@us.com password 1234 or e-mail eu@eu.com password 1234, this will immediately change the currency and remove the 10% tax. Obviously if you want to purchase an item you need to log out and go through the registration process and enter your own details regarding shipping payment options etc, but at least you'll know what the price will be.

Shipping is free ie included in the price, and we ship to most countries, when you enter your address, if your country is not on our list than we do not ship to your particular country yet. Delivery time is generally less than three weeks from payment finalisation. We will send you an e-mail once the goods have been shipped generally with tracking details(UPS or DHL). Lights have a 180 day warranty but must be returned for verification of the reason for failure. Shipping address cannot be a P.O. Box as a signature is required on receipt of the goods, the courier company also requires a contact telephone number.

You will also find there is a minimum purchase quantity on some items. Also note it is only items in this category group which we currently ship internationally without prior arrangement.

Note:- the 48w to 288w, have now all been upgraded with larger fans, new power supply for greater stability and reliability.  In some cases this has led to a price rise due to the increased cost of components, the larger power supply has almost doubled to weight in some situations leading to much greater shipping costs which are included in the purchase price. LEDs if treated correctly will maintain greater than 80% of their initial intensity for approximately 50,000 hours, the equivalent of burning a light for 18 hours a day, 365 days a year for 7.5 years.
