These square pots are 150mm at the top and come with their own tray, they can be used this way or placed in a common rectangular tray as seen in the pictures on the left, this greatly reduces the possibility of overflow from over watering indoor plants and creating a mess.

For indoor growing we recommend you use our indoor organic potting mix and fertilisers, the beauty of our indoor potting mix is that it is made up largely of sphagnum moss and peat, which gives it incredibly high water retention, meaning less chance of drying out. Each pot requires just under 2 L of potting mix to fill it, so if you are planting seeds this is what you require, but obviously if you are re-potting from small plants purchased at the nursery then you would require less.

As you can see from the bottom picture they are ideal for using with our Indoor Vegetable Garden-Large series where you would use 2 per tray in most situations, if the plants are going to grow a little bit large but the smaller pants e.g. rocket lettuce 3 pots per tray would be okay.
