This is a double shelf option that includes one shelf with a planter box, just choose the colour of the planter box you would like, and a second shelf with stainless steel slats for pot plants.
A double shelf can be either at the top or in the middle of the stand, it can also have one part in the middle and the other part as a top section, so choose the location of the shelf, i.e. “Top” or “Middle” or “Top & Middle” as different positions require different connections. With regard to the third choice we will assume that you would like the shelf with the planter box out in front of the shelf ie a top position & the Shelf with the slats at the back ie a middle position, as in the picture, if you would like it the other way round please let us know by e-mail.
We also supply 3 optional black plastic sources, these can be used as drip trays for small pot plants, however we believe their main attraction is when you are doing the vertical sprouts, like wheatgrass or snow peas, where you use this as the reservoir rather than the one that comes with the pot, the reason being is twofold. Firstly it gives you a larger reservoir, which can be important if the plants are in full sun in summer, and secondly being larger than the plant pot itself you can easily see at a glance whether you need to add more water, making it very easy to fill.
