Using the potting mixes from LivingApartment combined with the addition of water storage crystals gives great water retention for your plant containers, especially if they have the addition of a water well ie commonly called self watering.

Capillary mat Self Watering kit for 165D x 120H Pot

Self Wateriing Capillary mat kit for 165D x 120H Pot, it consists of a perspex mini stand and a strip of capillary mat. Simplifying the watering of pot plants, the plants sit above the water on top of the capillary mat which draws the water up from the tray below as the plant requires it.

This means that over and under watering, the main problems with pot plants, is greatly diminished, as all you have to do is make sure there is water in the tray.

A great solution for looking after those herbs you bring home from the market, no need to re-pot unless you want to.
