This solid plastic netting solution connects directly to the bracketing system. Can be used whether the plants are facing outwards ie common for decks & window boxes or facing inwards, balcony railings, walls & fences. The only difference is where you choose to place the fold up lid.

It is designed to work with our bracket systems and the planter box that we supply i.e. it will not work in a stand-alone planter box, it is 50cm from the top of the planter box, or the shelf.

If you do not want it this tall ie you only want it for short salad greens such as rocket, lettuce, coriander etc then it is an easy procedure to trim to the size you require.

This netting system works equally well for flower boxes or flowerpots ie when you use the shelf option. In the top picture I have just installed netting over a planter box of recently decimated Italian parsley which some night-time critter has taken a craving for. If you would like to grow wheat grass outside you will need a covering like this because sooner or later the smell of freshly planted wheat will attract something. Another advantage of using this netting is that moths that lay caterpillars eggs will find the netting a significant deterrent to their flight path, however small beneficial bugs like ladybirds will not be deterred.

Comes with installation instructions, all you require is some scissors & 10 mins.
