Fast growing Purple Colour variety.

An attractive and very useful annual plant. It grows up to 32cm in height and has large medium rich  red/purple leaves from 2 to 4 cm long. Similar to Genovese but with more aroma and exotic flavour. Its microgreens share the same flavour, with the benefit of a quicker growing time and complete lack of bitterness. Full of dimension, its subtle clove-like taste is followed by a slightly sweet finish. It is slow to bolt, matures slightly later than Genovese with larger leaves.

Italian basil microgreens are a good source of Protein, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Riboflavin and Niacin, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Folate, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc, Copper and Manganese.
