This kit consists of:- 36 biodegradable seedling pots(made from plant fibres). 

2 plastic containers (with lids & rewritable tags for seed type & date information), they can also be used as a general pupose food container when not being used for seedlings & they will each hold six pots.

4ltrs of high-quality loose coconut fibre which is ideal as a seedling mix(approx 40 pots).

Detailed instructions, including best luna planting times for leafy greens for the current year(it does make a difference, try it you will see).

This is a pretty foolproof system allowing you to have a constant supply of seedlings ready to transplant into larger pots, being small and rectangular allows it to be conveniently placed on your kitchen window ledge, allowing you to keep a close eye on the progress of your seedlings, or place it on one of our low powered lighting stands for trouble-free early growth. ie top shelf of the stainless stand has 4 x 6 = 24 pots, or 1 x 6 pots under single light. 

The beauty of using these pots is that when it comes time to transfer to a larger container there is no interruption to the growing cycle, you can see by the picture that the roots grow into the side wall of the pot, where they will continue to grow through once they are replanted into larger pots reducing the problem of root congestion caused by plastic pots, again decreasing the chance of transplant shock.

The only other thing that is not included in the kit is the liquid fertiliser, as you may already have this, we use 2mls/ltr of liquid Seaweed and PowerFeed fertiliser(see below), this is applied after seeds have germinated.
